distribution of goods for the people

My original plan was to help the people here in Cainta who was victim of typhoon Ondoy, but a week ago Typhoon Pepeng came back and hit the province of Nueva Ecija, wherein it is my town province. The barangay where I lived was not affected by the typhoon and my family were safe, just rain and strong winds they encountered but there’s no flood.

The nearest barangay was really affected because they are in a low coast area, near creek. When the Pantabangan Dam released water it affected almost 24 barangay’s in the province of Nueva Ecija and one of this is the Barangay of Llanera. From those people stories the water ruined their rice farm, their vegetables and also those who are having poultry chicken, they are all gone, everything was devastated by the typhoon Pepeng.

So the goods that I bought through the help of Nanoaid org Leader Matt Dotson I distributed it to the people of Barangay Llanera, but before that I talked to the Barangay Captain for asking his help and also permitted me to do the project and when he heard about my plan he was so happy and very thankful, but I told him that the goods I am going to give was limited and it’s because the Org just starting recently so only few people will can have it. He asked his officials to released some funds so he can join to my project.

The people from this barangay was really so happy and thankful, it is not how much or the quantity they received but to know that there are still some people who are willing to help. Barangay Captain Rudy M. Paray was really thankful also that I chose his barangay to do the project and from that help people still have Hopes and Dreams that everything will be fine and still have the will to survive.

Filed under: Uncategorized — janet @ 3:16 am

It’s been 4:00 in the afternoon when the rain began to fall and the clouds became dark and people here in our village starting to prepare and bring things in the second floor of their houses including us, especially foods and water. The rain now is so strong and the clouds are really so dark. We can feel the typhoon Peping is already here in our region. Please let us pray, that it will change his direction or it turn out into a normal rain and not a super typhoon. Pictures below was taken before the storm Peping.

Typhoon Ondoy Experience…

I made this blog to share my experience during the typhoon Ondoy, were all in fear and sadness. Amost 3 days we were stranded in the second floor of the house, were just watching those vehicles sunk in the water, people trying to save their things out from the water and ran out from the water to save their lives. We were still blessed because were still alive and not that much affected except some damage happened in the house and in our furnitures.

This morning i met Matt Dotson who wants to help our Filipino people, the moment I talked to him, he opened my eyes to share and help my fellowmen too. I am planning to go to the areas has been affected by the typhoon Ondoy by giving them food, clothes and some medicine specially those children.

We are encouraging you to do the same, if you think that you received so much blessings it’s time for you to share and help those people who are less fortunate. Let’s keep our hands together and help those people not only my fellowmen but also those who are in need right now.
